The Journey Begins

Hello all! My name is Shaina Kattaron. As a 24-year-old woman in a fast-paced and ever-moving society, it's nice to be able to stop and take a moment to think about what I want to do with my life. The answer is...I don't know yet!

What I do know is that I love to shop and eat, and I love to present my thoughts and ideas to others, so as a a resident right outside of the growing city of Atlanta, I had a thought to myself, "What women-owned businesses are there in and around the city that I can support by being a customer?" Then, I had another thought, "What if I find these businesses and showcase them so that other people can find them to?!" What did this thought lead to? Another thought, and my final one at that, "What if by showcasing these women-owned businesses, I help others to not only find them, but become empowered by seeing what other local women are doing to pursue their dreams and goals?!?!"

So, here we are. My journey begins. What I hope to bring to the fabulous femme table are women from all walks of life and all types of careers that have set up shop in Atlanta. I want everyone and anyone to know about these women and what they do, but I especially want other women to know about them so they can prove that their own dreams aren't unfounded in the business and entrepreneurial world. Follow me as we get to meet these miraculous matriarchs of business. I hope you'll come to find as much inspiration from this as I do.
